3. Queen

The project translates the experience of communing with the mountain - specifically with the Presolana massif - conveying an intimate dialogue between interiority and landscape onto paper. It narrates a profound relationship between high peaks and intense emotions, where the equilibrium of the rocks is distilled into lines, colors, and tensions. The investigation extends to the concept of the Mindscape, exploring the relationship between psyche and landscape; in the case of the mountain, I recognize a maternal bond that becomes the central theme of the work.
